Formed in 2000, Phoenix WM Brass are an award winning brass band situated in the West Midlands.

 

 

 

Sorry to report we did not do well at all in the 2010 midland regional championships at Bedworth. We were placed last in what was a very demanding test for us in this, our first year in the top section. We were of course very disappointed, but not ashamed. We were well aware that this was going to be a tough test, and so it proved. We will now work hard to overcome this disappontment.

Following our promotion to the 1st section in January 2008, we consolidated our place with a terrific 2nd placing in the area championship on March 8th 2008 A year later in March 2009 we went one better and won the first section area championships, even better is that we are now promoted to the "Top" section from January 2010. Another interesting fact is that Phoenix have been awarded Area Champions in the respective section in 2003, 2005, 2007, and now 2009; roll on 2011???

Contesting however is not everything, we pride ourselves in providing excellent concerts and being worthwhile ambassadors for the brass banding fraternity. We always have a full list of engagements at a variety of venues.
